Group Show — "In Response," national juried exhibition, SCAD Red Gallery, Savannah, GA (September 4 – November 5). "To Hell and Back" and "America Recovers" selected. Jurors: Robin Cembalest, executive editor of ARTnews, and Jeremy Strick, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles

One year after September 11, 2001, the Savannah College of Art and Design opened In Response, a memorial exhibition in two parts: commissioned memorial works and a national juried show of more than 80 works chosen by Robin Cembalest (executive editor, ARTnews) and Jeremy Strick (director, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles). Two Sesow paintings were selected: the large canvas “To Hell and Back (Turn on the News)” and “America Recovers.”
