Revelations and Reflections of American Self-Taught Artists

S pirituality here is given accessible and vibrant expression by the hands of
American self-taught artists, artists who come from all walks of life and all regions
of the country. Free from the constraints of formal instruction and artistic
affiliations, these inspired individuals are bound together by an inner drive to
represent heaven, hell, and purgatory; heaven and hell on earth; the angels, devils,
and demons - those demons of society and those within their own hearts. This
exhibition includes sixty-six works and is a program of Exhibits USA, a National
Division of Mid-America Arts Alliance with the Arkansas Arts Council.
