“Face Dances,” Hurn Museum
“Face dances” was the headline of Allison Hersh’s Savannah Morning News review (December 24, 2005) of the Hurn Museum’s show “The Many Faces of Folk Art: Folk Art in Transition” (through February 28, 2006), where Matt’s 2001 painting “Father of the Bride” hung. This entry and the 2006 Hurn entry are very likely the same exhibition.

Research notes
- Asked Matt (October 15) whether the two entries are one show and whether “Father of the Bride” is the painting the Hurn kept.
